Neil Cicierega is a human being that exists on planet earth, and he was born on augest the 23rd 1986. During his childhood he was homeschooled and since this was during the 90s/2000s was raised around computers. This would lead to him creating many different projects and internet things. Things I like very much.
For instance, he created the song for The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny [the animation wasn't him though]; he was the voice actor and dare I say main person behind Potter Puppet Pals [he didn't create the actual puppets themselves, nor the idea, and also didn't do all the puppeteering, but he did all the voices and stuff... so yes]; he created Animutations, a surreal style of flash animation consisting of music in different languages and pngs flying across the screen haphazardly [brief definition but dare I say it was the grandfather of current internet humour]; he created the song and animation for Brodyquest; he created Windows 95 Tips, Tricks, and Tweaks, which is a tumblr blog parodying windows 95 pop up thingys i forgot the name, along with a plethora of other tumblr blogs and twitter accounts that honestly don't interest me much; he's made amny short films with his friends under the group name Guarenteed* Video [which also does/did like two podcasts and video game livestreams], which previously was under New Kids on the Rock.
Most interestingly to me atleast is the around 500-800 (?) songs he's created under a pleth i mean shit ton of monikers. FOR INSTANCE!! Deporitaz previously Trapezoid where he released shitty midis; Lemon Demon which is what he's currently most known for where he releases original compositions; His government name [Neil Cicierega] which he's released the Mouth albums under and also an ost for a documentary one of his friends made; and a few other less notable ones like Grapes and Sunshine and Mego vs Spago. He was also in like two bands [As a Matter of Fact and Bodhi, iirc?] but not much is known about them and he just did instruments so I don't care.
Now, when I tell people all of this they usually have one question:
To be honest I kinda hate this question, it's been asked a lot by people irl and it feels like the person asking is just fed up with me having an enjoyment in something because the way I show my enthusiasm isn't how they'd do it or is 'weird'. JFC, I like Neil Cicierega because his music gives me the purest form of glee possible, one I've never felt until learning about him, and the amount of art and internet thingamabobs he's made is immense and I just have the compulsion to learn as much about it as possible. That's the best answer I can come up with after around 2ish years [as of 2025], but to me it feels like asking "why do you feel the emotions you do" or something else with no discernable answer. I mean... I guess I can give you an answer, but I'd kinda just be guessing because I don't know. Rant over >_<.
That's a basic infodump and it's not exhaustive at all I know way more than everthing in the above paragraphs, but this is the basic schpeel everyone who knows or knew me somewhat well gets or got. eventually I'll go way more into depth, there's a pre existing iceberg I've been writing down information for because it's fun to me so why not, and I'll eventually post that here once I'm done with it.
